“Although I was a student at KEOM for a short time, it opened the door for me to find my passion for journalism. I was a senior and wasn’t sure which path to take. Once I started the program, I knew it was the right industry for me. I also interned at the station before going off to college at the University of North Texas. All of the tools I learned at KEOM gave me a huge advantage as a freshman in college. I will forever cherish the lessons, memories, and relationships I have made with the wonderful staff. I’m currently an Associate Producer for the Dallas Stars, and I work in-studio and in the field as a high school reporter at FOX Sports Southwest. Being a student at KEOM gave me the fundamental skills and confidence needed to go after my career goals.”
