This winsome 4 year-old 46 pound spayed terrier Pit Bull girl is Ida May. She arrived at the Mesquite Animal shelter on 10/26/25. She continues to anxiously await that wonderful person or family who will take one look at her and decide she is just the dog for them! Let me tell you a bit about Ida May. She has an outgoing and fun-loving personality. She is so playful and loves to play with toys, amusing and entertaining herself and her people friends. She relishes getting out of her kennel to stretch her legs and run around doing zoomies in the yard. She likes treats and will sit for them, receiving them politely. She is alert and curious. In the yard, she watched the vehicles passing by on the road and seemed mesmerized by the steady stream of cars and trucks. She was dog tested and did fine. However, if you have a dog, please ask the shelter staff to do a meet and greet with your dog and Ida May. She is friendly and perfectly happy with being petted and loved on.
