Don’t tell Hunter he’s a senior! At nine years old, this handsome Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute mix still has plenty of pep in his step! Hunter weighs about 65 pounds and came to the Mesquite Animal Shelter as a stray. He’s friendly, sociable, alert, and very well mannered. He walks beautifully on a leash, knows how to sit for treats, and takes them gently. He even seems to have some training under his belt. Hunter is athletic and agile, so he’ll need a tall, secure fence. And, with that beautiful Husky coat, he will also need to be brushed regularly. If you’re looking for a loyal, devoted companion who still has plenty of good years ahead of him, Hunter may be your boy!
