Queen is a true queen in every sense of the word. She’s got a queen-sized heart, a sturdy queen-sized body—and the only thing she’s missing is her tiara!  Queen is a four-year-old, 69-pound American Terrier mix who came to Mesquite Animal Services after being surrendered. And according to the shelter staff, she has been busy capturing hearts ever since she arrived. Queen is sweet, calm, gentle, friendly, curious, and very well behaved. She’s also a certified cuddle bug who loves spending time with her people. Queen was raised around children from ages three to fifteen, so she especially loves kids. She appears to be housebroken and has experience living with other dogs. If you already have a dog at home, the shelter recommends arranging for a meet-and-greet.  Queen enjoys being outside when the weather is nice, but she doesn't do well in the heat, so she’d love a home where she can relax indoors with her family. Queen may not have a tiara yet, but she’s definitely looking for a kingdom to call her own.
